4th Annual Upstate Black Expo Shines the spotlight on local Chefs, Caterers and Restaurants
“Food is an integral part of all our lives and there are several minority chefs and caterers in the Upstate that deserve more exposure “according to Jeannie Jackson, VP of Marketing at Thomas Media Group, which produces Black Expo and the New SC Black Pages. After a successful event in Spartanburg in 2013, The Taste will return to Greenville this year. The much anticipated event will be held along the beautiful Reedy River at the TD Stage and Wyche Pavilion at the Peace Center of Performing Arts. Attendees will enjoy signature dishes from over 25 chefs, caterers and restaurants, while mingling with local business leaders and Black Expo sponsors. The festive occasion will also feature musical performances including DA Ravenell from Charleston, SC and other local entertainment.
Advanced Tickets for “A Taste of Black Upstate” are $45.00 and can be purchased at tobu3.eventbrite.com. For more information about The Taste of Black Upstate or the 4th Annual Upstate Black Expo visit the company website at BlackExpoSouth.Com.
