COM- 5th Annual Minority Health Summit to be held on April 16th

Greenville, South Carolina - The 5th Annual Minority Health Summit will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Carolina First Center (One Exposition Drive • Greenville, SC). The Summit is sponsor by the Greenville Hospital System (www.ghs.org) & University Medical Center in partnership with Bi-Lo and 107.3 JAMZ (www.1073jamz.com). The Keynote session will be on “Impacting & Transforming Lives” with keynote Speaker, Donna Richardson Joyner, renowned Fitness Expert.

Summit will include Lunch, Breakout Sessions & other Panel Discussions. This list of topics will include the following:

  • High blood pressure & heart disease

  • Dementia & Alzheimer’s

  • Allergies & asthma

  • Nutrition & portion control

  • Stress management

  • Exercise & healthy lifestyles

  • Barbershop & Beauty shop talks

  • Youth health
