Community Meeting to support 2010 Census

Greenville, South Carolina - A Community informational Meeting for the 2010 Census will be held on February 27, 2010 at 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Phyllis Wheatley Center. The meeting has been set to inform the community about the importance of the 2010 Census and is sponsored by the Legislative Black Caucus of Greenville County which includes Chandra Dillard, Glenda Morrison-Fair, Lottie Gibson, Karl Allen, Lillian Brock-Flemming, Jil Littlejohn, Glenda Morris-Fair, Ralph Anderson, Xanthene Norris, and Ruth Richburg.

"We agreed to invite, pastors, neighborhood leaders, social organizations, fraternities, sororities and other community organizations." said, Chandra Dillard in a letter to community leaders. Ms. Dillard is currently Director of Community Relations at Furman University and is a member of the SC House of Representatives. "You [Leaders] may be called upon to assist with a direct task or mission for the success of this effort, I hope you will say "yes" when called upon".
