COM: GHS Cancer Institute offers Free Prostate Screenings

Greenville, South Carolina - Take Charge of Your Health! Every five minutes, two men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. Risk for developing this disease increases significantly after age 50 for white men and after age 40 for African Americans. Fortunately for all men, prostate cancer can be cured if caught early.

The Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System and Us Too encourage you to take charge of your health and schedule a free prostate screening at one of these locations:

Thurs., Sept. 12 • 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Hillcrest Memorial Hospital

Sat., Sept. 14 • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Kroc Center

This screening is part of Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day.

Screenings will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mon., Sept. 23 • 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Greer Memorial Hospital

Tues. Sept. 24 • 6:30-8:30 p.m.

North Greenville Hospital
